Understanding Your Diabetes Labs is part of the Patient Guide Series created by Elie Casimir, Medical Technologist. This project is designed to help patients living with diabetes make sense of their lab results in plain, simple language.

The guide explains the most important tests — including fasting glucose, A1C, OGTT, insulin, cholesterol, kidney and liver monitoring — and shows patients what their numbers really mean, when to worry, and when to relax. With calming explanations, visual charts, and practical tips, this project empowers patients to feel confident, reduce anxiety, and take control of their health.
